Medical Couriers in Chicago

Chicago has more medical courier capacity than anywhere else in the Midwest, and most of it is based outside the city itself — in Evanston, Bensenville, Mount Prospect and the western suburbs, close to the highways rather than the hospitals.

Two things about this market are worth knowing before you start calling.
The address on a listing tells you very little. Chicago courier companies cluster near the expressways and the airport, not near the hospitals, so a company headquartered in Bensenville may well run more Loop stops than one in the city. Read the coverage, not the address.
O’Hare changes the shape of the question. Chicago is a next-flight-out hub, which means specimens and organs move through it on schedules set by airlines rather than by the courier. Airside access requires badged drivers and a cargo-area account, and that capability separates operators here more sharply than anything else on their service list.
Beyond that, the questions are the same ones that apply anywhere: trained handlers, validated containers, documented chain of custody, and a signed business associate agreement before the first pickup.
